What's new in it?

Welp, main feature is that GenLauncher now can start original game (Vanilla Zero Hour or Vanilla Generals).
It also can support patches and addons for game without mods.
For now it's kinda empty in patches and addons lists for vanilla game, but i'm sure, but I'm sure that later new addons will appear there. You can also add your patches and addons from files.

To start the original game, just turn off the mod in the list and click "launch game".
Also there were some bug fixes and some new bugs... as always... And also some minor improvements.

I will also add that this version was released solely because Moritz B donated to this feature (thank you again). You can view other goals. So, for example, if I collect a certain amount, then a very convenient map manager will be built into GenLauncher. 

For quite a long time there was no news here, but they are:

1) thanks to Moritz B for supporting the development, version 1.0.0.4 will now definitely be released in the near future (the latest deadline is the end of September)
2) I forgot to add the latest version of the launcher here, I need to fix it.

Contains minor bug fixes, enjoy.

   I'm rolling out the release of GenLauncher - GenLauncher 1.0, in fact, this is still the same latest version of GenLauncher, in which a lot of bugs are simply fixed and there are small improvements.
 
Perhaps at this stage I am finishing the further development of this product on the basis of enthusiasm. It was a great time of experiments, successful and not very successful decisions, a lot of experience. But now I see that I will not gain new experience, and my interest in the game as a game has faded away. I understand that my time should be spent on something more valuable.
 Does this mean there will be no more updates? No, updates are possible in three cases:
 1) Money. Yes, I have posted a few goals on the boosty site, if the necessary amounts are collected, I will do what I promise for these goals. Visit https://boosty.to/genlauncher to see goals.
2) The sudden release of some very good and useful tool that can be integrated into GenLauncher (There are a couple of things on the note, I won’t talk about them for now). I keep an eye on the progress in the community and if it happens that I am not left purposefully on the sidelines, I will definitely make my product even better with integration.
3) Identification of new bugs in the current version.

New GenLauncher version 8.9 is out!

Whats new? 
Integrated the Vulkan API with the SAGE engine, which SUDDENLY gave a noticeable performance boost to the game.  In the new version 8.9, every user can enable integration with the Vulkan API throw options, and get an FPS boost of up to 60% and yes, that sounds incredible!

But of course there are some warnings that I want to highlight:

1) It is highly recommended NOT to turn on Heat effects.

2) Image capture programs (such as OBS for example or various screenshot programs) do not work correctly because they do not support Vulkan technology.

3) You need to have latest DirectX.

4) It is still in development, so, it might have some issues.

5) In case of problems (like missing ground textures on very large, single player Skirmish scenarios), increase generals.exe (or modded.exe) process priority via Task Manager to High.

Whats new?

1) Added default settings: when you first start the mod, the launcher will offer you to apply them, you can also do this in the options window.

2) Speaking of windows, now all GenLauncher windows are customizable. Mod creators can do this (if they want to, of course)

3) Added the ability to put your own images to mods in the list. Have fun.

4) Some bug fixes and new bugs. (as always use 🔧tech-support for report bugs)

5) Some other minor improvements.

I congratulate you all on the upcoming New Year 2023 and let's hope it will be better than 2022.
