Super courier feedback
Hi everyone,
First of all, I’d like to thank all of you who decided to support this project. Thanks to you, more projects like this can come to life. I can honestly say that every time my phone pinged with a new subscriber notification, it made my day. Now, let’s get to the point. Regarding the last game, the feedback highlighted a few issues:
- The game contained bugs.
- Poor camera shots/footage.
- Overly complicated mechanics.
I believe I have completely fixed the first point. The shots have improved significantly, though there’s still room for improvement. Regarding the third point, I see a bit of a conflict: some players want simple gameplay, while others want a sandbox experience with more mechanics and challenges. You also mainly complained about the game's length.
Based on this, I’ve reached the following conclusions:
- At the start of the next game, players will be able to choose between Story Mode and Sandbox Mode.
- The next game won’t be released all at once. Instead, it will be split into several parts (likely three) to increase visibility in the "New" categories. The release interval will be one week (though I may adjust this depending on the situation).
- When I’m writing the script, it’s hard to estimate the final length. Because of this, I’ll be making some changes to the filming process. I promise the game will be longer and feature more interactions.
Creating a game like this is, however, much more complex, time-consuming, and expensive than Super Courier. I’m not making excuses; I just want you to be in the loop. That said, I’m officially confirming that the next game is happening!
I’m starting work on the script immediately, and as soon as I have enough money, I’ll get into filming.
What to expect now?
- I’ll keep you updated on the script's progress and would like to run some polls. I'm not sure if there are enough of us here yet, so we’ll see how the participation goes.
If you have any comments or insights, please let me know—I’m happy to discuss them with you. Thanks a lot and take care!
