A low-cost, long-distance airline with its main office in Arendal, Norway is called Norse Atlantic Airways. Bjorn Kljos, Bjrn Kise, and Bjrn Tore Larsen, former senior members of Norwegian Air Shuttle and OSM Aviation, formed the arline in 2021. The airline was established as a result of Norwegian Air Shuttle's decision to stop operating over the Atlantic.

The airline has added six Boeing 787s to its fleet because it operates long-haul flights over the Atlantic to America. Oslo, London, Berlin, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York are some of these locations.
