No need for a refund as I don't currently have a subscription. Besides which, even at the full price, this site is the top-of-the-line among similar sites. I've commented here before saying that same thing. I wouldn't ask for a refund.
I was going to sign back up to take advantage of the promotional rate, but since it is not in effect for me, I decided there is no rush.
(A person could simply use a different email and sign up that way, but that type of "workaround" is not my style.)
When I'm ready to re-subscribe, I'll cheerfully pay the full price.
