Real Talk About Piracy & This Project 🐾
Hi there, furry friends. 😺
I need to talk about something that's been on my mind.
Two days after Chapter 5's paid release, it showed up on F95. Since then, the paid version made almost nothing. I'm not mad—I get it, that's where many of you found this game. But I'd be lying if I said it doesn't sting.
Here's the thing: I release a new chapter every month. And each chapter goes free after 30 days. Sometimes there's a delay of a few days, but that's it. I'm not making you wait months between updates. I'm not forcing long-term subscriptions. I just ask for one month of early access, then it's free for everyone.
But when leaks happen two days after release, those weeks of late nights—on top of my full-time job—don't translate into much. And it makes it harder to justify keeping up this pace.
I know some of you don't like the story direction. I see the reviews. I read your comments. I talk with you in DMs. That's fine—we can disagree about pacing, choices, where the plot's going. I'm always open to that conversation.
But if you don't like where the story went, that's not a reason to leak it immediately and try to kill the project. Our opinions just diverged. It happens. You're welcome to wait for the free release next month or find games that match your taste better.
I love making this game. I'm a furry fan myself, I enjoy Finn and Mimi's story, and I have so many ideas for where it's going. But I need this to be sustainable—even just a little.
If you enjoy this and want it to continue, consider supporting it. Even the lowest tier helps. And if you're sharing leaks... I can't stop you. But know that every immediate leak makes it harder for me to keep going at this pace.
I'm not giving up yet. Chapter 6 is in the works. But I wanted to be real with you about where things stand.
Thanks for listening. 🐾
