🔥 GENUINE [JEN-yoo-in] (adjective)
Meaning: Truly what something is said to be; authentic. When applied to people, it means sincere and honest, not pretending or hypocritical.
Examples to inspire you:
1. You: "I wasn't sure if he was just being polite, but his offer to help me move felt really genuine."
Friend: "That's great! It's always nice when people show genuine kindness."
Reflection: This means the offer to help seemed truly sincere and heartfelt, not just a formality or empty words. You believed he meant it.
2. "This antique vase has been certified by experts as a genuine Ming Dynasty piece, not a replica."
Reflection: This means the vase is truly and authentically from the Ming Dynasty, confirmed to be real and not a fake or imitation.
