Hi! I'm Roman, an independent developer building RadioText AI with the help of artificial intelligence.

My goal is simple: make radio more accessible to everyone, especially people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

What is RadioText AI?

RadioText AI is an Android application in active development that aims to provide:

- Live English captions for online radio stations across the USA and Canada.

- Offline speech recognition through a phone's microphone, including for traditional FM radio.

- Smart contest alerts to help listeners recognize important announcements and potential code words.

- Quick access to official contest entry methods.

- Large, high-contrast captions and a simple, accessible interface.

Why am I building it?

Radio is more than music. It's news, entertainment, local communities, and opportunities to participate in contests.

People with hearing difficulties should have better access to those experiences.

Current development status

RadioText AI is an early-stage project. Initial speech recognition has been tested, but the full online radio and contest experience is still under development and testing.
