Personally I don't think this change is necessary, but quite a few people asked for more lives - here you go, 5 instead of 3. The interface displaying the number of lives with dots has been changed to display with numbers. The interface texture itself has not changed, there will be small transparent areas, because the interface texture is in the textures of each of the levels and to remake them properly I will have to do a utility disassemble and reassemble the textures of the level, which at the moment seems like an irrational waste of time.
