PayPal payment method is currently unavailable on boosty, and it's unclear if this will ever get resolved.
So unfortunately the only way to get a subscription now is to use cards.
Otherwise there's a https://hipolink.me/rgd87 service that supposedly works with PayPal, but it only supports per post unlocks.
