Chimera is a female-run virtual exhibition platform and art agency existing online and in various public spaces. It aims to support new media artists, digital creatives and thinkers with exhibition opportunities, private commissions, residencies, and research fellowships. Our mission is to connect communities, generate developmental opportunities and grow the audience of web-based art and digital culture. Chimera promotes emerging, re-emerging, mid-career and established artists and highly values diversity. The platform is open to everyone regardless of ethnic origin, socioeconomic and/or gender backgrounds.

Chimera is currently run by volunteers. Your donation would largely encourage our job until we find an appropriate sponsorship. Whether you donate a pound or make a larger gift, it would help us to create new developmental opportunities for artists and curators, host a web residency and provide artists with bursaries. In return for your support, we would love to send you an invitation to our Discord, which is a networking club for digital creatives. You can also support us by sharing info about our initiative on social media, booking a curatorial consultation or commissioning an artwork by Chimera’s artists for your event.
