[00:06] Hello and welcome to the “Let’s Talk About It" podcast by “Английский по-Британски”, I’m your host, Ivan.

[00:29] I will also give you a few tips on how you can maximise your English learning. Most of these tips will be valid for almost any English podcast you listen to, whatever your level is.

[01:15] Now, let’s get cracking!
[01:18] And the first question you may be asking yourself if you don’t know me yet: “Who is this guy talking to me right now and why should I listen to anything he says?” Well, excellent question, let’s talk about it!
[01:31] My name is Ivan. I’m currently 24 years old and I’m recording this podcast from Russia. I’m a native born Russian and I’ve been learning the English language for almost 5 years already. “Not a great amount of time!”, you would say, but hold your horses! Learning is not about the time you learn something, it is about the time you actually spend learning something and in my case that is the most important aspect. Because during my first and second year of learning English I spent an enormous amount of time on it - from 5-7 hours a day every day.
