Autumn has arrived, and with it – the season of viruses and colds. I don't know about you, but almost everyone around me has been sick a couple of times, I’m no exception. My paws ached, and my tail fell off… I had no strength at all, I was only saved by tea, knitting, and… CUTTING.
What can I say about children with fever! Sometimes you just need to slow down a child, to keep them busy with quiet games. And paper dolls are the perfect solution for a calm and exciting pastime.
🌿 If the child is able to cut, give them scissors and let THEM cut out all the details. Yes, even if it's crooked and askew, it DOESN'T MATTER - the thing you put effort into will be worth much more!
🦊 Are the sets ready? - great! Role-playing with dolls is a great way to develop imagination and communication skills.
🌿 Suggest coming up with and showing a doll story. Attach dolls to chopsticks or pencils - you'll get dolls for a puppet show! (My sister and I loved showing such performances to our parents, and before that there were hours of rehearsals. I think my mother was especially happy about those hours 😅).
🦊 A journey around the room - the dolls are small, they seem to have come from the pages of books about little boys and girls. The room is a huge world, let them go on a journey.
🌿 For those who love to draw, there is a whole lot of entertainment here. Suggest drawing new clothes, outfits for your favorite cartoon and fairy tale characters.
