Google Verify your Identity

Go to the Google site and fill out the sign-in form using your user ID.

When you are asked for your password, select Next and then choose Forgot your password.

Then, select "Try another way" so you will have access to the recovery options.

Then, you will get another way of getting the code in your phone.

Proceeding to the next step, you should choose I don't have my phone. You will then be provided with another means of receiving a confirmation code to your backup email address.

You can then use the verification number you receive in your recovery email to confirm your Google account before changing your password.

Answer a security question to receive the verification code.

Go to the Google sign-in page and fill in the space provided for your registered email address.

Then click Forgotten password to get to the recovery screen

Then, you can get the recovery code through your phone, but you may skip this step if you don't have your phone.

Then you will see the option to receive the code via your recovery email; you can choose another method to avoid this again.

Then you will find your secret question, so you have to answer it precisely.

Then you will get the verification code that you can use for confirming your Google account.
