Ecoline Royal Talens swatches
A note for artists
I know that this post might not be interesting for everybody, but I have Ecoline inks colour swatches that I scanned for you guys. The bigger square is for wet on wet, the smaller bar is wet on dry. Why would one need these? Well, I realised that swatches are actually very useful for planning the palette for a drawing.
These ones I can even detach from the ring binder and compare with each other. I guess it’s one of the most useful exercises for an artist, because before my drawing materials were in chaos and I seemed to lose control.. now I feel much more confident!
So, maybe some of you would also find it useful? :) I don’t have the full colour set, but it’s enough for me now!

Doggo, I'm glad you found the post useful! I think must-haves are all of the pink tones and other pastel-like colours.. Although blue tones are all the same to me, I guess it'd be enough to buy any one of them and then mix it with different tones of watercolor adding some water and changing the opacity 🤔 Stay tuned, I plan to post other colour swatches from different watercolor sets that I use in my pictures 😼
