Scanner

As you can see, I created a new financial goal - I'm saving money for buying a new scanner since I'm a traditional artist. I live in a small conservative Turkish town right now, I volunteerely chose this place to be my home but there are still some issues. One of them - I can'r draw as freely as I used to because my personal values and visions don't match the local ones. I would risk my own safety and peace of mind if I dare to scan anything queer or even slightly anatomical in a public copy centre (and you know, I love using nudity as a metaphor for different psychological states). The things I adress in my art still are considered taboo in our society but I'm not going to give up and stay silent. 

My birthday slowly approaches, so I thought I should take my chances.
