The plot is built at the intersection of science and religious mysticism.
- Each character is a complex individual that is revealed through gameplay.
- The artistic style combines Gothic aesthetics with elements of bio-art and sacred symbolism.
In this God-forsaken world, every child born into this world is shrouded in darkness, with a veil over their face and deprived of what is invisible, the absence of which has made them “Empty” – a soul.
Human souls may have become a non-renewable resource—people have learned to synthesize them in the laboratory, but no one is rushing to put a price on this discovery. And no one is even aware of the consequences such a breakthrough entails.
- The fate of not only the main character, but also the entire fortress city of Echo depends on your choices.
- Will you help Elijah maintain her peace of mind, or will you send her to the "Void" with your own hands?
- Which of the characters will become your enemy, and which will be your friend or something more? (Romantic relationships are possible in the game.)
- Will you be immersed in a philosophical drama, discovering the causes and reaping the consequences of "The Departure"?
- Or would you prefer to explore the darkest corners of Echo, one of humanity's last strongholds?
