Send the Devil My Regards.

Noah Sorrow.
Upright Bass Of Broken Dreams
I don’t want to cut your throat
I don’t want to burn your city
Don’t want control over your thoughts
I want that all was psychobilly
Just chainsaw buzz and riot screams.
No plastic gods, no killing pity
Just upright bass of broken dreams
And every night a graveyard ditty
Around you
Around me
Around us
And then we’re free
And we are young
We are in love
Against the static
Against the odds
No polished lies, no velvet cage
No future sold in neon bliss
We carve our names outside the page
In blood-red ink and engine grease
Black pompadours and dead-end streets
Hot rods howling through the borough
Zombie twangs and rebel beats
We dance like hell, there ain’t no sorrow
Around you
Around me
Around us
And then we’re free
And we are young
We are in love
Against the static
Against the odds
No saints above, no rules to keep
No quiet life, no safety pit
We kiss like corpses out of sleep
And laugh like ghosts in faded crypt
So let it crack, the world we know
Let vinyl spin and sparks get silly
If it all burns, at least we go
As something wild and psychobilly
Around you
Around me
Around us
And then we’re free
And we are young
We are in love
Against the static
Against the odds
