PSA: Hipolink is currently having A LOT of issues with receiving foreign payments

Image caption: "TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE. Technical maintenance at the payment partner. At the moment there are technical maintenance on the partner's side, because of which there may be problems with accepting payments via foreign cards and withdrawal of funds. We are already working on solving the problem and will inform you as soon as payment is available again. We apologise for the temporary inconvenience and will let you know as soon as payment becomes stable again! Hipolink team."
So if you tried to donate or buy my stuff and you couldn't, this is why. It's extremely frustrating and out of my hands, and I am a little worried for my forseeable future. I will keep y'all posted.
Hey everyone! A system SSD died in Demi's PC so he can no longer work until we get a replacement.
Please don't forget that your donations are our greatest financial strength. Please send money if you can. Thank you:

Just Some Ruminations

Sat down today on a bench after taking out the trash and was taking in the surroundings and ruminating.
I basically live an unsustainable way of life because neither me or Demi are capable of doing any "real" work, yet we do not have any documents that say that we're legally not allowed to work, and even if we did, that'd do jack shit for our livelihood.
So we're stuck in a limbo where if anything at all would happen to Demi, we are left without the major money income source, and that means that we're left without meds, without cat food, without food for ourselves.
We're wholly dependent on folks' donations, there's no way around it. And I am extremely grateful to everyone who donates or buys stuff off my Hipo or Boosty.
Unfortunately, the donations are scarce, commissions are even more so, and cost of comfortable living in Russia right now is such that any single $100 USD donation will be gone in a matter of couple of days, and that's terrifying.
