Weekly Summary – Week 40
Hey everyone!
This week was mostly about listening to you. I carefully read through all the comments under the feedback post, and they gave me a lot to think about. Some were very supportive, others critical — but all of them were meaningful and useful.
I’m very grateful to you for leaving so much detailed feedback. It helped me better understand what my game is really about, which mistakes I’ve already made, and which ones I still need to fix. I asked you to give me another chance — and I want to assure you that I’ll do my best to aggregate all your notes, take the constructive criticism to heart, and make future versions even better.
One of the most common concerns was pacing. Some of you feel the game spends too much time in the build-up, without enough decisive progress. That’s something I’ll address by giving upcoming updates more action and progression, instead of dragging out the teasing phase.
Another important topic is the branching system. While three routes bring variety, many feel that their favorite path doesn’t get enough content. My task now is to make each branch feel rewarding on its own, while giving players more flexibility to explore beyond their main route. Being completely “locked out” of scenes isn’t fun, and I want to avoid that.
I also heard your comments about the characters and dialogues. Some figures don’t resonate as much as intended, and some conversations feel too artificial. That’s a fair point, and I’ll be paying more attention to making characters deeper and dialogues closer to real, natural speech.
Technically, the release of 0.13 went smoothly, but your feedback shows me exactly where I need to grow as a writer and developer. Thank you again for your honesty and for being part of this journey — together, we’ll make the game stronger. ❤️
