I am the developer of PhysEx mod A.K.A. Water physics overhaul + Block physics overhaul 

 This mod makes physics to be a thing!

 Water and other fluids are finite now!

 Features:

1. Realistic fluid flow

2. Placed blocks no longer destroy water

3. Bottle now consumes water

4. Pistons displace fluid

5. Farmland now consumes water (configurable)

6. All hollow blocks can be filled with water - no more strange air pockets in doors! (configurable)

7. Dripstone no more fills cauldrons (configurable)

8. Water evaporates on contact with lava (configurable)

For the future: Block physics will be added to this mod.

Both fluid and block parts will be able to be independently switched on/off
