Hello! I’m Ivana, an artist from Serbia.

I’ve lived in Armenia for 28 years now, and for the past six years I’ve been living in the quiet village Argel, near Yerevan. I arrived here with my white shepherd Mia, and slowly, one by one, stray dogs and puppies found their way to us.

A real family grew around Mia, and I called it Mia Family. Today I care for 14 dogs. My biggest dream is to build them a home that is truly their own — cozy, warm, and safe.

At the end of November 2025, Mia was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma.

In Armenia, the surgery she needed was not available. On November 28, she underwent her first pericardiocentesis to remove fluid from around her heart. The second procedure followed on December 21. The doctors could give no guarantees and told me that Mia would live only as long as God allows.

From the very beginning, I searched everywhere for information about heart tumors in dogs. On American and Chinese forums, I learned about Yunnan Baiyao, a traditional herbal medicine that may help control internal bleeding and, in some cases, support the body's fight against cancer.

Thanks to friends who responded immediately, the first package arrived on December 23. Today, Mia feels good — she is happy, energetic, and enjoying life.

I will keep fighting for her as long as I can. Any support you can offer in this fight means more than words can express.
