The master and Margarita (2024), eng subs

Subtitles for the movie had to be created from scratch, some of the minor characters' words in the background are hard to hear or it's unclear what they're saying, so their lines should be taken with a grain of salt.

I also got a lot of help with the German lines, as their translation to Russian left a lot to be desired.

The official English translation of the 1997 book edition of "The master and Margarita" was used to translate some of the lines. All of this I indicated at the end of the movie.

So far only online viewing is available, I'm waiting for the release of the film with subtitles for a full edit.

i created an account just to comment, thank you so much for providing the movie and subtitles! it is not available in my region and i really wanted to watch, even if i didn't understand a lot i could understand the main idea, everyone's acting is impeccable!

It warms my heart to know that people are watching, understanding, and appreciating this film. It is not as faithful an adaptation of the book as Bortko's tv series, but it does an excellent job of conveying and exploring the main themes of the book.

I also recommend reading the book, of course, for a deeper immersion and understanding of the context of that era.
