Started this one quite some time ago too... definitely before DATV came out.

From left to right:

Theris Mahariel (he/they) - possibly the worst dalish archer out there (totally not because I sucked at the game on my first playthrough). Good at communication and being convincing, somehow was able to make it through the fifth blight... optimally. Really misses his clan but has terrible survivor's guilt which results in reckless behavior in combat + savior complex as a treat. Gets a little better once he makes new friends. Had a thing going on with basically everyone romanceable in the game lmao. While surprisingly not even being a very flirty person. They have some subtle taint marks around his eyes after touching the tainted eluvian. 

Romance: Zevran - primary partners, but they're non-exclusive. 

Kayori Surana (he/him) - originally a dalish mage but got kicked out of his clan as a child due to an abundance of mages there + almost creating a forest fire on accident (burned himself in the process and got a permanent scar). Hated it in the Circle but was friends with both Jowan and Anders. Did his best to learn every useful for survival spell/skill, planned to escape the Circle before his harrowing but eventually got caught, somehow succeeded and didn't die. Wanted to escape with Jowan but it didn't really work out. Considered becoming a warden a blessing, is much happier like this than in the Circle but develops a strong fear of his own mortality. Will do anything to survive. 

Romance: Morrigan 

Aeren Cousland (he/him) - his family dying really did fuck him up: mentally, but also got his eye damaged and a piece of his ear's chipped off by a mabari. Has a huge faith crisis during the fifth blight and overall commits questionable decisions. Is distrustful/afraid of magic. Incidentally, slept with Morrigan once (which resulted in, well, a normal Kieran with no old god's soul). Then had a thing with Leliana (it's complicated) but ends up killing (?) her due to defiling Sacred Ashes. (yeah half of the companions are dead in this worldstate...). Doesn't do the ritual with Morrigan and makes her leave, which leads Alistair to sacrifice his life during the final battle. (I imagine Morrigan and Leliana eventually bonding over how shitty Aeren is in DAI or something...). Overall hates being a warden but doesn't want the world to be destroyed by the blight.

Romance: Anora. While it starts for political power gain mostly and as a means to survive and have a future, he respects her and eventually develops feelings for her as well.

Aurelia "Medika" Aeducan (she/her) - goes mostly by Medika. Dreamed of becoming a paragon by making great advancements in dwarven medicine. Leaving Orzammar was terrible for her as she lost everything she had and her future. Dispised Duncan, had a distaste for the surface and didn't care if the blight destroyed it (because dwarves have been fighting darkspawn for centuries and lost so much but no one gave a crap). Had a distaste for magic and societies that rely on it too heavily too. Becoming a grey warden was devastating for her. She barely participated in fighting darkspawn making it others' job unless she absolutely had to. Had a glimpse of hope to still somehow return home. Despite everything still supported Bhelen. Learning more about the blight and experiencing more of the surface, she grew to... hate the surface less.

Romance: Alistair but, uh, he leaves.

Medika was heart-broken. She refused the dark ritual and died defeating the archdemon.

Dunna Andras (she/her) - an elven mage and an orlesian warden commander (same worldstate as Medika's). Arrived to Amaranthine to essentially collect and recruit a bunch of weirdos which ends up a whole lot of an adventure she didn't expect. A job is a job. (the events of Witch Hunt don't occur in this worldstate except for I guess Morrigan doing whatever she was doing on her own).
