Look what BentoRound Powerpoint add-in can do!
It works with regular rectangles (without initially rounded corners) and shapes made from them.
❗️It can round the corners of several simple rectangles at once (just select few and voilà).
❗️You can change the corner radius by running it again, both on simple and complex shapes.
❗️You can round the corners of all complex shapes in the whole presentation at once. Or only on one slide. Or only on the selected shape. It will ask you at the start
❗️You do not need to ungroup anything; it will restore the group and the layer order inside it by itself.
❗️It will preserve the layer order on the slide, whether it is grouped or not.
❗️It will preserve the shape formatting – fill, transparency, and outline. Even if the fill is an image
It's free for use and sharing but I ask You not to sell it.
