🪙 Style Reference by one-time fee
In this mini-guide, I'll show you how to use style references in your creations with Midjourney AI.
A style reference is any image that serves as a seed source for your generations. You upload the reference image into Midjourney AI, and the AI analyzes it, breaking it down into its constituent colored pixels.
Then, you give the AI your prompt, asking it to use the exact colored dots the AI extracted from the reference image.
For example, if you need to draw the sun, but your reference only has red and black pixels, the AI will create a black canvas with a red sun or a red canvas with a black sun. Plus, it'll adopt the style from the reference. A cyberpunk reference brings tech accents; retro adds vintage charm.
The reference might contain just one item, like a glass. Yet, you can transform it into anything—a dog, an elf, or a character from your story—while retaining the color palette and style of the glass.

You can access my references through a subscription or a one-time fee (as minimal as the service allows) - 🪙.
Why not use my generations as references? You can, but it's like reusing tea leaves. Every new brew makes the tea weaker. That's why I avoid AI references.
Thanks for reading! I hope you learned something new.
