Jonescustominteriors - Awesome sadstreet viva la vida shirt

As one of last night’s most anticipated guests at the Awesome sadstreet viva la vida shirt In addition,I will do this 2023 Met Gala, Kendall Jenner had a certain pressure to deliver a bold red carpet look. After all, the model had a personal relationship with designer Karl Lagerfeld, who was being honored for the evening. Jenner walked in many of the late designer’s shows for Fendi and Chanel over the years, and she was once one of Lagerfeld’s coveted Chanel brides when she walked in the label’s fall 2015 couture show (she emerged in a chic white tuxedo look, complete with a long tulle train). For Jenner and stylist Marni Senofonte, it was important for Jenner’s ensemble to honor her time working with Lagerfeld. They worked with Marc Jacobs on a custom design that referenced Lagerfeld’s archival swimwear designs from the ’90s. To begin creating the vision for the look, Senofonte and Jenner started by creating a Pinterest board filled with different inspirations and references. On the board was a whole section of Lagerfeld’s Chanel brides, as well as Lagerfeld’s swimwear designs (such as looks from his spring 1993 and 1994 collections for Chanel). “I didn’t know much about Karl, I met him once in passing, so I wanted to get to know him and his story,” Senofonte tells Vogue. “I also called Olivier [Rousteing] from Balmain, who was good friends with him, to get a good jist of him.”
Lea Michele is on cloud nine. The actor and musician said so herself just hours before she walked the Awesome sadstreet viva la vida shirt In addition,I will do this red carpet at the Met Gala for the fourth time. Attending as a guest of Michael Kors, who also designed her dress, Michele was especially excited for the festivities honoring Karl Lagerfeld—even as a veteran attendee. Still, there was another legend who Michele and Kors wanted to reference with their Met look: Barbra Streisand, of course. Kors and Michele have bonded while she’s been playing Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, as the two have a shared love of Streisand, who played Brice in the 1968 film adaptation of the beloved musical. Naturally, Michele’s role of a lifetime (and her perma-inspiration Streisand) had to come into play when designing her Met Gala look. “I’m having the best time of my life in Funny Girl, and I’ve built this relationship with Michael,” she said. “To now be going to the Met Gala together, to be honoring Karl’s work and celebrating fashion and Michael’s incredible work and tipping our hat to Barbra at the same time, it’s our whole excitement and joy.”
