On the board was a whole section of Lagerfeld’s Chanel brides, as well as Lagerfeld’s swimwear designs (such as looks from his spring 1993 and 1994 collections for Chanel). “I didn’t know much about Karl, I met him once in passing, so I wanted to get to know him and his story,” Senofonte tells Vogue. “I also called Olivier [Rousteing] from Balmain, who was good friends with him, to get a good jist of him.”
