I am not a tailor, I am a seamstress and have done alterations on hoodies before. I believe anyone with the Miller high life x planters shirt and I will buy this know how of clothing construction and how to use a sewing machine and/or overlock can alter a hoodie. With that said, too many alterations will compromise the original style. A tailor can alter anything for a price. But as I learned last night at my Jos. Bank store, they probably won’t work on it unless it’s clean. So clean it before you take it in and then get specific with your tailor as to what you need to have done. They’ll either green light it or say no. Good luck!
As Mr. Pelikan stated, “How much you are willing to pay.” The reason I presume you’re a young man is because most young ladies would ask their go to seamstress. They aren’t, by tradition, culture, demand, or for whatever reason as expensive of ‘Guns for Hire,’ so to speak {been watching to many Westerns, I suppose}. Other ideas that went through my head, one being, since most Tailors can make, or design a Hoodie from scratch, they can probably alter, or even restore a Hoodie. The reason I said restore is because you may have a nice favorite (vintage?), even Security Blanket type Old Friend, Your Aging Hoodie. Maybe you have an expensive ‘Friend’ & you want to extend the Miller high life x planters shirt and I will buy this life of that favorite Hoodie. I say this because You could purchase a New Hoodie for a lot less, so I think you’re a bit attached to this Hoodie. Does It, She or He have a name? Just Pulling Your Leg, or Hoodie. LOL. Don’t feel Weird because we all have a Favorite Clothing Wear. Once you fix it, or alter it, Please, don’t wear it out anymore!! Take Care & Stay Safe, Dapper Dan
